Common Questions

Everything You Need to Know

We understand starting something new can feel daunting. Here are answers to questions we hear most often.

Do I need to bring my own device?
You can bring your own smartphone or tablet if you'd like to learn on your personal device. We also have devices available for use during sessions, so don't worry if you don't own one yet or prefer to practice on our equipment first.
What if I'm a complete beginner with technology?
Perfect! Many of our learners start as complete beginners. Our courses assume no prior knowledge and we build skills gradually. Our instructors specialise in teaching adults who are new to technology, so you'll be in excellent company.
How large are the classes?
We keep groups small with a maximum of 6 learners per session. This ensures everyone gets personal attention and plenty of time to ask questions. You'll learn alongside others with similar goals and experience levels.
What happens if I miss a session?
Life happens! If you miss a session, we'll arrange a brief catch-up before your next class. We also provide session notes and can recommend practice exercises to help you stay on track with your group.
Is there ongoing support after the course ends?
Absolutely. All course participants get access to email support for questions that come up as you practice at home. Many learners also join our informal coffee mornings where you can get help with specific challenges and connect with other graduates.
